Three years ago, with a decade of experience in the security industry, Collin took over a small, local Houston alarm business with just 10 employees.
As the CEO of Alarm Masters, he has since tripled the company's size, growing the team to over 35 employees and expanding its service area across all of South Texas.
In 2025, Collin launched this podcast to have honest conversations about what it truly takes to scale a business. He shares the lessons he’s learned—both the big wins and the mistakes that went very wrong—to help other security operators grow their companies faster and smarter.


Stephen began his career at KPMG, transitioned to lead sales and partnerships at a high growth SaaS company that was acquired, and then jumped into the world of entrepreneurship where he has started, acquired, and invested in a handful of companies.
He partnered with his long-time friend and business partner Collin Trimble to execute a rollup in the security industry at Alarm Masters, where he mainly focuses on M&A and marketing efforts.
He hopes that Entry and Exit is a way to give back to the industry through valuable discussions on sales, marketing, ops, acquisitions, and more.
